Born in 1979 in Istanbul, where she lives and works. After graduating from the Department of Cinema and Television of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University in Istanbul in 2003, she completed her MFA at the Faculty of Art & Design at Yıldız Technical University, Istanbul, in 2007. She is currently a Ph.D candidate in Art at the same Faculty. In 2014 she was artist-in-residence at Ostrale’014, Dresden, Germany and in 2015 at Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris. Her work
is an attempt to incorporate performative and introspective practices in order to weave a network between the dead zones of representation.
