MICHAL MACHCINÍK [49262]

Born in 1989 in Košice, where he lives and works. In 2015, he obtained a Master of Arts in Sculpture from the Technical University in Košice (Prof. J. Bartusz).

«The origins of his work are meditation (as a form of knowledge) and martial arts (as a form of humility and harmony), which of course converge in the ex- ploration of nature, as an object of knowledge. Using di erent media, he captures traces in a speci c en- vironment, like symbols to be sealed. He make casts from the holes made by woodpeckers on trees, using wood and polyurethane foam.»
