Jennifer Pazienza []

Born in Newark, NJ, US, she earned a PhD in Art Education from The Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA, US, and a minor in Painting directed by afro-native American landscape painter Richard Mayhew, in 1989. She moved to Canada that same year and served as professor of art education at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, Canada, until her retirement in 2014. Jennifer paints from her beloved home and studio on Keswick Ridge, where she lives with husband Gerry Clarke and their dog Mela. An award-winning painter, her work has been widely exhibited and is held in public, private and corporate collections in Canada, the US, UK and Italy.
She has given scholarly papers at conferences in Canada, the US and Europe, has worked as a visual
arts research consultant at the Getty Centre for Education in the Arts in the US, the Kingdom of Bhutan, and Canada.
