Alexandros Kyriakides was born in Athens in 1979. He lives and works in Larnaca. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan and continued his postgraduate studies at the School of Fine Arts in Glasgow. His research focuses on the artists’ ephemeral existence as well as on his political irresponsibility. Video is his principle medium. He has participated in various international exhibitions and artist residency programs. He has been working as a lecturer in tertiary education for the last ten years.
