Born in Montijo, Portugal, in 1962, she lives and works in Lisbon. Sculpture and installation have been Fragateiro’s media of choice, working with space in its various phenomenological manifestations – architectural, sculptural, private, public, temporal, socially determined –, whether through sculptural works, outdoor installations or interventions, collaborations in architectural projects or works that are based on public participation.
