Kassiani Kappelos was born in Larnaca in 1992. She lives and works in London. She holds a BA in Sound Arts and Design from the University of the Arts London, she is inspired by post-internet culture and uses sound and video to focus on the relationship between human consciousness, habits and technology. Reference to Cypriot and Greek culture is prominent in her work, mainly through kitsch methods of expression.
