Marlen Karletidou was born in 1961 in Nicosia, where she lives and works. In 1985 she achieved a degree in Painting and Art Theory from the Athens School of Fine Arts. She has held 18 solo shows in Cyprus and Germany and participated in international exhibitions. In her work she researches the transformation of ideas and experiences into an environment where nature, imagination and reality are merged. A journey that aims at achieving a superior, collective and universal consciousness.
