Nurtane Karagil was born in London in 1989. She lives and works in Famagusta. She holds a BA in Fine Arts - Painting from the Hacettepe University and an MA in Fine Arts from the University of Brighton. Her practice is mostly based on painting and installation. Her works address issues related to cultures and politics through the use of childlike aesthetics.
