Ursula Döbereiner [53653]

Born in 1963 in Munich, Germany, she lives and works in Berlin. She earned her MA in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Berlin University of the Arts, Germany. She was the recipient of the Arbeitsstipendium of the Kunstfonds e.V. Bonn, and of fellowships from Die Berliner Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Europa and Cité des Arts, Paris, among others.
She has participated in major group exhibitions, in Germany, at Nationalgalerie, Gropius Bau, Neuer Berliner Kunstverein and Akademie der Künste, in Berlin; Badischer Kunstverein, Karlsruhe; Brandenburgisches Landesmuseum für moderne Kunst, Cottbus; Kunstverein Göttingen; Kunstraum München; Kunsthaus Dresden; Kunsthalle Baden- Baden; Frankfurter Kunstverein, in Frankfurt; in France at Palais de Tokyo, Paris; BBB Centre d’Art, Toulouse, and Passerelle Centre d’Art Contemporain, Brest. Her works are in the permanent collections of Musée des Beaux-Arts, Brest, France; Neuer Berliner Kunstverein, and Staatliches Museum Schwerin, in Germany, among others.
Her work focuses on drawing and electronic music. In her work, she explores the conditions and possibilities of drawing and the interrelations of drawing and digital media, lm, music and performance. In addition to her individual artistic works, she participates in different collective projects.
