“The artist is distinguished by a bright subjective expression, involvement in the new poetics of the turn of the century, a high level of professionalism. The most common thing that can be said about his art is the ability to speak of spiritual things with purely material means. His power is in allegory, in the ability to create, in the language of sensual objectivity, associative artistic “texts” in the microcosm of which, his rather complex, multifaceted attitude to the world is expressed...”.
“In the process of intensive creative development, his art acquired its basic qualities – the metaphoric nature of language with the free semantization of “quotations” from the material world, the onslaught of suggestiveness, the free circulation of age-old traditions. Often, his creations are stunning with a balancing act of materials and semantic meanings, an adjacency of high, learned art and folklore, elite arrogance of taste and elements of pop art, kitsch, jargons...”.
